French fashion house Chanel leads the latest Lyst Index , the quarterly ranking of the hottest brands and products online published by fashion shopping platform Lyst. Lyst credits the brand’s position to the launches of its Coco Beach and Métiers d’Art 2026 collections, while demand for its accessories also boosted ratings: searches for Chanel’s sunglasses grew 70 percent quarter over quarter, and its Shield style specifically placed seventh among the quarter’s hottest products. Fast climbers Italian fashion house Miu Miu climbs two places to second and French fashion house Dior holds third, while Celine post the quarter’s largest gains and Phoebe Philo enters the ranking for the first time. Massimo Dutti rose eight places to No. 10, the biggest jump of the quarter, after searches for the Spanish label increased 43 percent. Lyst points to celebrity visibility during Cannes and growing demand for the brand’s Mediterranean-inspired wardrobe. View this post on Instagram A post shared by LYST (@lyst) Celine was the other major riser, climbing five places to No. 15 on a 31 percent search increase that Lyst attributes to appetite for Michael Rider’s designs. Both brands held visibility across social and editorial conversation throughout the quarter. Miu Miu’s 30 percent search increase followed interest in its crochet bags and its New Balance collaboration, worn by Coco Gauff at Wimbledon. Burberry and Prada also moved up the list. Sport and the season A New York Knicks cap claimed the top product spot, with searches up 4,276 percent quarter over quarter. Lyst links the surge to the NBA Championship and to rising interest in sportswear labels such as Literary Sport, demand for which grew 231 percent. Wimbledon and the World Cup shaped the quarter as well, with an Adidas jersey designed by Willy Chavarria landing ninth. Lyst argues that as discovery shifts toward algorithmic feeds, highlights, tunnel fits and fan content are introducing luxury brands to new audiences. Record heat across the Northern Hemisphere pushed shoppers toward practical summer product. Issey Miyake’s Madame-T Stole ranked second, ahead of jelly shoes from Skims and Chloé, Gucci’s Vittoria heels and Massimo Dutti’s toe sandals. Demand for Issey Miyake doubled quarter over quarter. Lyst reads the spread of brands across the product list as a sign that shoppers were buying a seasonal idea rather than a specific label, finding similar looks at several price points. The index measures brands across three dimensions, including desire, demand and discovery, combining data from 160 million annual shoppers on Lyst with signals across social, search, editorial and what the company calls emerging AI discovery channels. The model weights recent activity and excludes attention driven purely by discounting or negative coverage.
