Microsoft's now lets advertisers appeal multiple disapproved text & image assets at once, reducing time spent resolving policy issues
Microsoft Advertising launched bulk editing and appeals for disapproved assets, making it faster for advertisers to resolve policy issues without updating assets one at a time.
The feature is now available in all accounts and supports both text and image assets.
What’s happening . Announced by Microsoft Ads Product Liaison Navah Hopkins, the new tool lets advertisers bulk edit or appeal disapproved assets directly within Microsoft Advertising.
There are a few important limitations. Because Microsoft reviews assets individually, appeals must be submitted for all disapproved assets within an ad. This allows approved assets to continue serving during the review process, provided the ad’s final URL remains approved.
For image assets, advertisers can’t simply edit an existing creative—they’ll need to upload a replacement image. In some cases, Microsoft also recommends requesting a policy exception instead of modifying the asset. Advertisers can submit up to 5,000 ad exception requests.
Why we care . Bulk editing removes one of the more time-consuming parts of campaign management, especially for advertisers managing large numbers of assets. Instead of reviewing and appealing each disapproval individually, teams can resolve policy issues much more efficiently.
The bigger picture . Microsoft continues to invest in workflow improvements alongside new AI-powered campaign features. While not a headline-grabbing launch, updates like this reduce operational friction and make it easier for advertisers and agencies to manage campaigns at scale.
Bottom line . Microsoft Advertising’s new bulk edit and appeal tool simplifies policy management by allowing advertisers to update or challenge multiple disapproved assets at once.
Every click they win is a customer you lose . See where competitors are investing, which keywords drive their results, and how to capture more of the market. See who’s stealing your traffic
