Aston Martin Newport Beach worked with bespoke division Q by Aston Martin to release five one-of-one Heritage Edition sports cars. Available exclusively through the California dealership, the collection revives finishes from the 1960s and 1970s using the marque’s current paint technology. “Every Aston Martin tells a story, and these Heritage Edition commissions celebrate some of the colours that helped define the marque during one of its most celebrated eras,” said Jeff West, general manager of Aston Martin Newport Beach, in a statement. “Working alongside Q by Aston Martin allowed us to honour these historic finishes while pairing them with today’s most advanced sports cars, creating a collection that bridges Aston Martin’s extraordinary heritage with its uncompromising future.” Color archive The five commissions include the DB12, Vanquish and Vantage ranges, with each vehicle receiving a different historical shade. A DB12 Volante appears in Pale Primrose, a finish used on the cover of Aston Martin’s 1958 DB4 sales brochure and later associated with Corgi’s model cars. Its coupe counterpart receives Pacific Blue, recreated after the Q design team studied an original sample from a DB6 color brochure. Tudor Green covers the flagship Vanquish, connecting its current V12 proportions with a metallic shade associated with Aston Martin models of the 1970s. The interiors incorporate Q-perforated fluted seats, making their debut in the new Vantage and Vanquish, along with heritage logo embroidery and exclusive sill plaques. Image credit: Aston Martin Winchester Blue, named after the cathedral city in Hampshire, appears on the Vantage coupe. The color became particularly recognizable on the earlier V8 Vantage. Completing the group, a Vantage Roadster wears Mink Silver, informed by the pale metallic finishes applied to more than 100 DB6 models during the 1960s. The interiors incorporate Q-perforated fluted seats, making their debut in the new Vantage and Vanquish, along with heritage logo embroidery and exclusive sill plaques. Dark Walnut Open-Pore Wood Inlays are featured inside the DB12 Coupe, DB12 Volante and Vanquish.
